The last time I met with Crispin, he showed an interest in books. I brought books this time, including one on lions. He wanted to "read" to me, so he would open a page and let his imagination go. Then I would read to him what it actually said on the page. Then we would look at the page and I would tell him what was going on the page. He liked to tell me which lion was the mommy, which was daddy, and which was baby. I explained to him what a lion's mane was and we counted the lions on the page.
During this session we also practiced shapes. I taught him squares and triangles and he would briefly draw that on a piece of paper before drawing what he really wanted to draw. This was a good session. He was especially attentive this time.
