For the second part of this morning's session, I worked with Alex, Oliver, Naomi and their mom. We practiced the alphabet because Oliver and Naomi are the youngest and their mom's level of English is very low. Then I read a children's magazine with Alex. It had a few short stories and poems so I read them aloud and he looked at the words and the pictures as I read to associate the sounds with the letters and to understand the story. To end, we all listened to the alphabet song, which all the children love.
