Date/Time: Wednesday August 2, 7-8pm

Alberto, Dylan and I went to visit the children Wednesday evening. They were all outside playing on the playground which we thought was an excellent opportunity to learn new words and to learn in a different space. There were also a bunch of other kids that we met and got to interact with. We had brought paper and crayons so that the children could draw things and then we would talk with them about what they drew and then we would talk about how to spell those things. The children loved this activity. They loved showing me what they drew and talking about it using the new words they learned. We ended by playing the alphabet song and everyone sang along and then we also played 'Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.' The children seemed to have a lot of fun.
