Lesson: Vocabulary
For this lesson I went to the children's house where I spent time with Alex and helped him with his vocabulary. I pulled up a game on my phone and went over how to spell simple three letter words such as cat, dog etc. I then went up to have Alex start spelling out four and five letter words such as house, bird, moose etc. He seemed to really enjoy this activity because I would pull up a picture of what he was to spell out. This helped him learn new things in English such as moose which he originally thought was deer but I had to explain to him that even though they may look similar they are actually two different species.
