I went over to the children's house with Annie and Alberto where they were all out by their local playground. We decided we should do the lesson here as it was different and it wanted to make this activity fun. For the activity we did today was having each kid their take a piece of paper and draw anything they wanted. I sat with Alex and a newcomer named Patrick. Alex drew a lake with a house and grass. I asked them to explain what each thing they drew was and why they chose to draw this. Patrick drew a car and explained how he wants to drive a car which cracked me up because he is only 10 years old. I told him he has awhile to go but that it was good to keep his goals set at an early age. The children seemed to really like this activity.
