Kristen CO#2

For my second class observation, I went to Andrew Wilson's Reading class, level 3B, held at 11 AM on Wednesday July 5. The class started with him introducing the word of the day, which was the adjective "incoherent". He had a student try to pronounce the word.  He explained the word and then provided examples such as: "After a crazy night, his speech was incoherent".

After the word of the day, the students then had a reading and listening assignment. The class was reading "Matilda" They each got out their books and read Chapter 7 while the audio book played along in the background. After the reading, the teacher asked the students for any vocabulary words they didn't know. For the remainder of the class, the teacher had the students take a written test.
