Ken TS #9 Moses

I was not intending on tutoring anyone but Hope yesterday. When I came to Hope's house, I was told that the tutor for her brothers (Moses, John, and Peter) did not show up.

So, having no other plans for the day other than meeting up with my co-teaching partner, I decided to stay for several hours to tutor all of the children there.

Moses was older than Peter and John so he was further along.

As I did not have anything planned for them, I had to improvise. Thankfully, Hope was too advanced for several of the worksheets that I had brought over, so I repurposed them as tutoring materials for her brothers.

Moses and Peter worked together on a crossword puzzle that was focused around animals. I invited them into the room when Hope and I were doing the flashcards, but Hope was too sharp for them. I had to go over the cards with Moses and Peter again to make sure they knew what was on the crossword puzzles.

Again, we watched videos on some of the animals they liked and set off on the crossword puzzle.

I made sure that they got the correct answers on the puzzle and I would have them alternate giving the answer and spelling it in the box. The spelling took several tries but they were very patient and wanted to finish the puzzle.

At the end, like with Hope, we played HeadsUp. It records a video of the people guessing and after we were done, we watched it together and with their dad, Emmanuel
