Well, school is now out, but I really wanted to help Yao because her SPEAK test is in two days on Tuesday! I printed out two SPEAK practice tests, and we went over them. Talk about improvement! I don’t know if it was the change in environment or what, but WOW, she has seriously improved! Yao is so much more comfortable with her answers now, as well as speaking them more calmly and smoothly! Her wording is great! I can’t believe all the improvement she’s made!!! Where did this come from?! I asked her if she’d been practicing on her own, and she said she did a little bit, but really, maybe she had another tutor helping her because there’s no way I could have helped her this much! I’d like to think that I contributed though. ^^;

              I definitely don’t think she’ll have any problems whatsoever when she takes the SPEAK test!

              With that in mind, I think this is going to be the last time I’ll be tutoring her…. I feel kind of sad about it…. I have already reached the requirement for the TEFL program, and it is a bit difficult for me to tutor more often, considering I’ll have even more classes soon, and I live so far away, so it’d be pretty inconvenient, but it makes me sad to think that this is going to be the last tutoring session I have with her. TnT I mean, we didn’t said it directly, but without the SPEAK test, I doubt she’ll need my help anymore. She’s already very skilled, and her ACES classes will be over, so there won’t really be a need for an English tutor anymore…

              Makes me kinda sad, but the important part if I actually contributed to all her progress throughout the semester.
