Karinna TS #12 -Imani

Imani is going to be starting school in a week and I think we can both feel the pressure. I am hoping there can be some sort of communication between his teacher and I. I fear his teacher will not be able to give him the attention he will need. I am not sure if the school he will be attending has a special program for students at the EFL level. Today we focused on sentences once again. I tried to incorporate new sentences as well as the same ones from last week. I did this for two reasons, (1) to make sure he learned something the last session, (2) to boost his confidence by including sentences he is already familiar with. This technique seemed to work since Imani seemed to be a bit more comfortable with this exercises than the last session. I plan to continue this pattern for the next couple of sessions to prepare Imani for the 5th grade.
